ONCE UPON A TIME…

 High school sweethearts,  Rich and Teri have been married for 42 years.  Together they run a successful group family day daycare where  reading is a priority. They bring the story to life with puppets and props, making story time fun and exciting.  

With over thirty years experience in the childcare field (it’s really 40, but who’s counting), Teri has made nurturing children her lifelong career.  Whether it’s caring and educating , or working as a nurse, the needs of the child always come first.

When Rich retired from the military, he joined Teri on this adventure.  Both born and raised in Rome, they knew they wanted to contribute to the children and families of their community on a larger level.   Circle Time Books & More was a dream turned reality.  Knowing that reading and playing is most important to a child’s development,  a fun retail space was created with that in mind.  

When not taking care of children or at the store, Rich and Teri can be found playing with their goats, chickens, cats and dog.  They adore their grandchildren and even created a summer camp just for them.
